Chinchillas are exotic animals and are classified as rodents. Chinchillas are very fragile and complex animals. There are many things that go into their daily care. Chinchillas get used to daily routine and that makes them most comfortable. They take more work then your average “caged-rodent”. As long as you provide the proper necessities, chinchillas can give you many years of love and laughter!
